dreaming of Christian Lacroix

I still can't get this dress and its sumptuous fabric out of my head!! love the color, love the fabric. to me, this dress is pure genius. i'd prefer it without the white bow though. diane kruger at golden globes 2010

Chanel 2004 Cruise Collection

here's a post i've posted before on thefashionspot..

My beloved Chanel Resort Cruise collection 2004. These pieces are very special to me because as soon as i saw it featured in InStyle magazine, I had to write to them and gush about how I had fallen in love with the candy colored collection. And my feedback ended up being published in the March 2004 InStyle issue. My first official publication!

Saw it in a mag, had to have...

Speaking of Watches

mom is the best. when i quit my accounting job..to celebrate, she got me another BEAUTIFUL ceramic watch. not that i really needed another one, as i used to wear my chanel white ceramic j12 watch every single day..

but variety is the spice of life.

this is the Michele pink tahitian ceramic watch that i just love.

too bad in skin school we aren't allowed to wear any jewelry..so all my lovelies have been staying at home as of late. so sad.

Like Mother Like Daughter

Ah..Chanel. One of my favorite brands..

Got my watch for college graduation. Then of course had to get the chanel white cachalong camellia ring in their fine jewelry collection to go with it.

I got the larger one first, but then opted for the smaller one with diamonds.

I say like mother like daughter...but what is usually the case is that mom has to have everything i get. she is like my clone!! : )

Here we are posing with our loot.

slutty outfit post

here is an oldie of me posing in the mirror of my old apartment. i was trying to emulate these paintings i saw in a restaurant. i love, love bright colors. if you took a picture of my closet, it would be a cascade of vibrant hues. i love purples, pinks, blues or anything bright and obnoxious.

i took a summer painting course at parsons school of design once, and the teacher said my paintings reminded him of kandinksy. he said i was never satisfied with my painting until i had used every single color of paint available to me. (this came with my sheepish realization that he was quite right!)

Me being lazy

i know i look quite fat here. but just ignore the face and focus on the outfit.

This fashion blog just may turn into me just recycling old photos and putting them up. It is just so exhausting to find light, and take a decent photo. I am horribly grotesque looking in photos, and so out of like 300 photos taken, only two or three are decent enough to post. that is exhausting!!

there has been a major development in my life that i'm very keen to share, but it won't be until a little later in the month. i'm just being cautious. this development has basically consumed me for the past few weeks, leaving little time for anything else but school and sleep. so sorry for the delayed blog posts!

skin school has been so much fun so far. i am so excited learning all about skin and skin disorders. it is my favorite subject apart from fashion! besides...beauty and skincare is basically fashion anyways. the worlds overlap.

here is an old pic of me in a strapless Monique Lhuillier lace number with an antique glass necklace that dates to pre 1900. That's late 1800s for you!! It's definitely the oldest piece of jewelry I own.

I paired the dress with snakeskin and feather Manolo Blahniks. I must post a family pic of my manolos one day. You can see my family pic of Christian Louboutins on my old blog at http://louboutinheels.blogspot.com

Thanks for tuning in!
